Malaysia - Arrival Card

  • The Immigration Department of Malaysia requires foreign nationals to complete the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card (MDAC) prior to their arrival in Malaysia.
  • Information that needs to be provided when filling out the Malaysia Digital Arrival Card, includes personal data, passport number, date of arrival, mode of transportation (air, land, or sea), and the location or point of last departure.
  • All travellers should prepare a printed copy of the completed form to present at the immigration counter upon arrival. The immigration officer will verify the form along with the traveller's passport which should be valid for at least six months from the travel date.
  • You must complete the MDAC typically within three days before you arrive in the country. The allowed duration of stay with an arrival card in Malaysia can be up to 30 days.
  • You can't change the arrival card after you have entered the country, nor there is a need to. You can depart on your new travel date without reporting it as long as it is within the duration of stay stated on the entry stamp.
